METHODS is the oldest Greek consulting firm (created in 1964) and has implemented to date, over 600 projects for over than 400 clients of the public and private sector (Government Bodies, Public Organizations, Regional and Local Authorities, Industries, Commercial Companies, Service Provision Companies, etc).

METHODS was one of the first EU consultancy organisations specializing in the management of the Structural Instruments and providing support to Ministries and state organisations responsible for the management of the EU Structural Funds’ assistance in Greece, in programming, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects.  In the latest years, METHODS’ activities expand in the provision of technical assistance and training in accession countries for the preparation of the use of the Funds.  Specialized technical assistance provided by METHODS concentrates in the areas of the development of Operational Programmes co-financed by the ERDF and the ESF; National Action Plans for Employment and Human Resources Development Strategies; management and evaluation of Programmes co-financed by the EU Structural Funds; restructuring of the public administration to comply with the EU requirements.

METHODS’ other activities include the management of public sector technical assistance projects on behalf of the European Commission, mainly in the Balkans and the Southern Mediterranean countries.  Services in this field are focused on the sectors of employment and social development, health management and social protection, and they include surveys, research, training, institution building and programming of EC assistance (design of programmes and projects and evaluation).

METHODS activities expand in the following areas:

METHODS’ activities are focused on programming, management and evaluation of programmes of the European Commission in the EU and internationally, as well as on the development of studies, needs analyses and TNAs, and the organisation of training programmes.

The company has acquired significant experience in implementation of structural development assistance projects, the organizing and management of public organizations, institution building and know-how transfer.
