Until 2001, the evaluation of European policies and programmes has developed under the responsibility of DGs. The General Secretary is now equipped with an evaluation with responsibility for thematic evaluations that cut across several DGs. This three-day training seminar aimed at developing a common understanding of evaluation issues, and at reflecting on how to adapt the current evaluation practices in the new context.
