Eureval-C3E introduced the « concept mapping » technique to DG REGIO members, focusing on the presentation of the technique itself, the different situations in which this tool can be used, and its application to a particular case. This presentation follows a pilot evaluation project, led by Eureval-C3E in Spain and for which this tool had been used.

Eureval-C3E felped preparing three conferences organised by the European Commission, each having gathered several hundred participants. We were responsible for the scientific management and we also presentations and speeches on evaluation practices and techniques.

The results of these studies gave birth to several publications in the framework of the MEANS programme :

"Evaluating Structural Funds intervention on employment", MEANS handbook n°6, 1996.
